The pulp mill is designed to produce Bagasse Bleached (Chemical) Pulp based on agricultural residues mainly Bagasse and wheat straw/ wood. The pulp mill has Bale breaker, depithers, wet wash zone, and Continuous Digester (Horizontal 3 tubes) for Cooking, Washing, Screening, Centri -cleaning, and a Chorine Hypo bleaching system with a C-E-H-H Bleaching sequence.

Bagasse is procured from sugar mills and is processed through double depither where approximately 80% of the total pith is removed. The raw material is then processed further and pulp is formed which will be used in the writing and printing division. The process of producing bleached pulp from raw material is as given in the following process flowchart.

Using a mechanical or chemical method, the fibers or pulp are used to print and write papers derived from wood or recycled waste paper. These papers are a particular grade of paper with specific properties like electrical, optical, chemical, physical, etc. It is intended for uses, like book printing, calendar printing, diary, notebook, packing food and drinks, filtration of water, printing currency notes, etc.
